Modern and timelessly beautiful: Introducing CONTEMPO, Emil & Hugo’s new collection. The focus of this collection is on versatile structures of a natural or architectural origin. Inspiration for this can be found in both the urban environment and nature. Because anyone who explores their surroundings with their eyes open will find a wide range of materials that become ever more fascinating over time as a result of unique signs of ageing. Metals, concrete and tiles have inspired the CONCRETE, DESERT, PATINA and RAW PLASTER designs. Fabrics and stone are interpreted in the beautiful RHAPSODY, MALACHITE and MONOLITH wallpaper patterns. The aesthetics have been enhanced in part by elegant colours which provide effect.
Three digital murals complete the collection in different dimensions and colours: BIG MALACHITE impresses with an oversized cross-section of MALACHITE. TERRA INCOGNITA promises unknown land on the horizon with a gentle colour gradient and COSTA RICA shows a palm tree landscape that appears to be carved in stone.
32 non-woven wallpapers and 3 digital prints in different colours and sizes are complemented by 7 other wallpapers made from natural materials such as grass, cork and shells. The extensive colour palette ranges from light colours such as cool white, cream, light clay, concrete, silver grey, light blue, blue grey and mineral green to strong colours such as caramel, moss green, dark blue, petrol blue, dark clay, rusty orange, golden sun and golden ochre. Tones of mother-of-pearl, silver, gold and bronze create accents of colour.
